EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBERS
Rima Vargas-Vetter, Chair was born in the United States to Cuban-German parents and grew up in the United States, Mexico, Italy, England, and France. She speaks fluent French and Italian in addition to her native English. Her first career, starting as a child, was in the theatre as an actor, dancer, and choreographer-director. Performing in Europe with various classical and modern companies, including Les Ballets Peter Goss, and Joseph Russillo Company, she danced and choreographed for French and German television shows, as well as for the shows of various noted French performers, and acted and danced in a number of French films. In American films, she was featured in Bob Fosse's All That Jazz and The Cotton Club, and appeared in Tootsie. After a full theatrical career, Rima went back to school and earned a degree in art, and subsequently became a freelance art consultant; currently she is Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Elisa Monte Dance.
Carolynn V. Koster - Dilworth: Born in Toronto, Canada, educated in New York and Hamburg, BS, Finance from CW Post Long Island University (1985), course work toward MBA in Finance, Stern School of Business, New York University (1988). Certificate in French cuisine, Culinary Institute of America (New York, 1999). Twenty years of experience in international commercial and investment banking. Spent 13 years at Deutsche Bank in various positions, including marketing, product structuring and credit analysis to major national and international Fortune 100 clientele. From 1999-2002 operated own financial consulting business, Everest Alliance Capital LLC, that structured loans and mergers and acquisition transactions for established franchise restaurant businesses. Also, transacted venture capital and M&A deals for start up franchise systems. During this time was also a partner in a large event management and catering business in Hamburg, Germany. Clients included high-end private clientele and large corporate clients. From 2003-mid 2007 retired from corporate world and focused on non-profit organizations in and around New York City, including various Treasury and Board positions for children’s and youth sports leagues, modern dance companies, Humanitad out of London England and Lutheran Church board. Since 2007, co into Frommagination, Inc. dba Auray Cheese Shop (now Auray Gourmet), a high-end specialty food establishment and French Bistro offering cheeses and other specialty food products to customers in the Westchester County, NY / Western Fairfield County, CT area. Canadian, German and US citizen; bilingual English and German.
Robert Dilworth is the Senior VP & Associate General Counsel at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he is the Co-Head Legal of US Equity Derivatives as well as active in various professional committees and projects in the US and abroad. After receiving his JD from University of Georgia and his LLM from Columbia University School of Law, Robert worked as Director and Counsel at Deutsche Bank.
Amina Elderfield is the Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, driving common practices and toolsets across the global technology organization. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University's The McDonough School of Business, and has worked as VP of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Senior VP at Citigroup, and Senior VP at Cit Smith Barney.
Donald T. Fallati is President of Altheus Advisors, which provides consulting in the areas of strategic growth advisory, marketing, product planning, corporate development, and acquisition-related work for healthcare information and other software and services companies. Previously Don held a variety of senior management roles in technology firms, including Executive Vice President with Dictaphone Corporation and Senior Vice President of Marketing for M*Modal. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the American Health Information Management Association Foundation, is a member of the Contemporary Drawing and Print Associates at the Museum of Modern Art and serves on volunteer committees at Union Settlement Association in East Harlem. Don has a BA from Wesleyan University, an MA from University of Iowa, and an MBA from New York University.
Richard D. Kirschner is the currently the President of RDK Search Solutions LLC, a search firm specializing in the placement of attorneys in legal, regulatory, and compliance positions. He has 25 years of experience in legal recruiting and was formerly Senior Vice President at Kendall-Parker Associates LLC and Marley Group Ltd., in New York City. Prior to his career in legal recruiting, he practiced law for 16 years with a focus in family law. For thirty-five years, Mr. Krischner has been on the Executive Board of Elisa Monte Dance and secured their status as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. He is also the Vice President of the Sourland Hills Actors Guild, a community theater group in New Jersey.
Elisa Monte (Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Elisa Monte Dance) made her professional debut dancing with Agnes DeMille. She then went on to continue her dance career as principal dancer with Martha Graham Dance Company, Lar Lubovitch, and Pilobolus among others. Monte’s first choreographic work, Treading (1979), defined her as an important innovator and contributor to contemporary dance.
Tiffany Rea-Fisher (Associate Artistic Director & Director of Operations) received her BFA from the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College SUNY. While at Purchase she co-founded ForArts, the school's first interdisciplinary presenting organization, which provided opportunities for students from different conservatories to create collaborative works. In 2004 Tiffany created, directed, and curated Dance at the Tank at the interdisciplinary arts organization the Tank and is the Artistic Director of Inception to Exhibition a fiscally sponsored art service organization she co-founded with her husband in 2009. While with Elisa Monte Dance she has held the positions of principal dancer, Director of Education, Associate Artistic Director and Director of Operations. Tiffany is entering her 11th year with the company.
Paul Ukena received a Bachelor of Arts from Oberlin College and a Master of Fine Arts in Acting and Directing from Sarah Lawrence College. He spent almost 20 years in the professional theatre in New York City, acting on Broadway, off-Broadway, and regional theatres, and then moved to New Mexico, where he taught theatre classes at the University of New Mexico, College of Santa Fe (where he directed Fiddler on the Roof with his wife and colleague, Rima Vargas-Vetter), and Albuquerque T-VI. In 1996, having spent 12 years teaching himself to fix computers, he joined with a partner and created MacMechanix, Inc., as a consultant for clients who use Macintosh computers for personal use and business; he was responsible for helping them set up computer systems, networks, and for troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software problems. Currently retired, he has been a member of the Executive Board of Elisa Monte Dance since 2014.
Nicholas Fox Weber is the Executive Director at The Josef and Anni Albers Foundation, the President at American Friends of Le Korsa, and the author of fourteen books including The Bauhaus Group, Le Corbusier, The Clarks of Cooperstown, Balthus A Biography, Patron Saints, The Art of Babar, and The Drawings of Josef Albers. He is currently working on a biography of Piet Mondrion to be published by Alfred A. Knopf.
Vanessa Wilcox is the owner at Wilcox Educational Consulting, a firm which assists students and families with educational decision-making in New York City. She founded the firm in 1997, after receiving her Masters of Science in Education from the Bank Street College of Education.
