Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Leslie attended school at the Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts, where she was a member of the Academy Dance Company. She also studied at Texas Ballet Theater School. Then she moved to New York to study at the Joffrey Ballet School in the Trainee Program under the direction of Robert Ray. She has attended intensives at Debbie Allen's Dance Academy, Texas Ballet Theater, American Ballet Theater, Earl Mosley's Institute of the Arts, & Keigwin + Company. Leslie is more than thrilled to be joining EMD as an apprentice

It all started when...

Rashidi Lewis is a Jamaican- American dancer and choreographer born and raised in Miami, Fl.  He is a graduate of New World School of the Arts with a BFA in Dance Performance. While at New World he danced works by Bill T. Jones, Darshaun Bhuller, Eduardo Vilaro, Robert Battle, Peter London and Gerald Ebitz.Since graduation Rashidi has presented work in Miami, New York, and Iceland. He has preformed with Gaspard&Dancers, Keigwin+Company, Zullo Rawmovement, Vissi Dance Theater, Dalio Arts,and RudduR Dance and wishes to explore more levels of his creativity.

Reid Conlon began dancing at the age of six in his hometown of Canton, Michigan. He is classically trained in ballet, modern, jazz, contemporary, tap, and musical theater. He attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX as major in dance where he performed works by Danny Buraczeski, Paul Taylor, George Balanchine, José Límon, Shapiro and Smith Dance, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, and Bob Fosse. In 2015, Reid had the pleasure of performing at the José Límon International Dance Festival alongside his SMU colleagues. While at SMU, he received the accolades of Outstanding Senior Man for the Meadows School of the Arts as well as an Outstanding Achievement in Dance Award. In May of 2017, Reid graduated Summa Cum Laude from SMU with a B.F.A. in Dance Performance. He is very excited to be joining Elisa Monte Dance as an apprentice for the 2017-2018 season!
