EMD is heading to the place where everything's bigger, Texas! And boy are they going to be busy!
The company will be teaching masterclasses at schools in the area, including Booker T. Washington High School and Southern Methodist University. While the company is busy with outreach and getting ready for the stage, Founder and Artistic Director Elisa Monte will be across town with Dallas Black, resetting her 1999 piece, Amor Fati, a piece known for its sculptural movements and athleticism.
Elisa Monte Dance is excited to perform classic favorites Treading and Pigs and Fishes, as well as the recently revived Audentity and Tiffany Rea-Fisher's 2014 premiere, Persona Umbra. This show is larger than life, you don't want to miss!
