What is your current state of mind?
Serene, satisfied, but with a hint of nostalgia.
What living person do you most admire?
My mother. For being a stubborn fighter who perseveres, even when others doubt her.
What is your greatest fear?
Being alone. Or having a mouse run over my bare foot at home...
What is your greatest extravagance?
When I'm traveling somewhere new I always feel that I should go all in. I mean, how often does one get to go to afternoon tea in London? I still remember eating unlimited finger sandwiches while sitting (alone) on some luxurious couch with tassels and listening to "On My Own" from Les Mis being played on the grand piano.
If you could have one super power, what would you choose?
It would certainly be to fly! I imagine pretty wonderful feelings to be soaring through the sky with gusts of wind blowing through my mane. Plus, I wouldn't have to spend half my days riding the subway.
What is your most treasured possession?
My memories -- the countless journals I've written, photos I've taken, and many mementos I've collected over my lifetime.
If you could choose what to come back as what would it be?
A squirrel. Because they sneak up and spy on people so innocently and can then quickly jet away! I take it that they also live pretty in the moment and don't hold on to too many things in their lives -- besides nuts.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
"I can see that," "I don't know," "Yeah... I know," "I'm good!"
What are your favorite names?
I've actually been pondering about this a lot lately... And I'm still not sure! But here are some of my favorite names out of all the children I've taught this year: Willa, Scheherazade, Zaria, Jax, Lion... And to be honest, I also just really like my name!
What is your motto?
It is what it is.
