J. Bouey

J. BOUEY was born in Los Angeles, California and spent the majority of his life in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area in Arizona. J. began his training in contemporary dance at South Mountain High School's Dance Magnet program, and continued his training with the professional modern dance company, Scorpius Dance Theatre, which he was asked to join in 2012. With Scorpius Dance Theatre, J. has performed the lead male role in Lisa Starry's A Vampire Tale as Viktor, the vampire king, and performed internationally around Europe with that show and many other repertory work. J. also recently received his BFA in Dance from Arizona State University's Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts in 2014.


Psalm Gadson

Psalm Gadson, a native of Kennesaw, Georgia, is a graduate from Alabama State University’s Bachelors of Fine Arts Program in Dance. Her training began at The Metayer Conservatory for the Arts, under the direction of Regine Metayer. While attending her university she became a founding member of Beta Phi Alpha Dance Honor Society, and the chair of the organization’s marketing committee. In 2016 she was the lead angel of “Nutcracker Atoomba!” under the direction of James Atkinson. For two consecutive years Ms. Gadson has performed at the International Association of Blacks in Dance conference. She has worked with artist such as Micheal Medcalf, Anthony Burrell, Deshonna Pepper-Robertson, Allyne Gatrell, and Terrance Greene. Ms.Gadson is excited to see what her future holds, and thanks her loved ones and mentors for the love and support.

Jaitlyn Trinai Sherrod

Jaitlyn Trinai sherrod is a native of Atlanta, Georgia raised in Fairburn, Georgia. At the Age of four she began training at Dazz with Jazz dance studio later on ending up at Dancemakers of Atlanta under the direction of Denise and Lynise Heard. After graduating high school Ms. Sherrod was accepted into the BFA dance program at the Alabama State University, where she became a huge asset being the soloist of “First steps inaugural” in her freshman year of 2014. While at ASU Jaitlyn became a member of Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity Incorporated as well as Beta Phi Alpha Dance Honor Society. Jaitlyn graduated with a bachelors in fine arts for dance on May 12th, 2018. Soon after graduation Ms. Sherrod up and routed her life to New York City, where she now serves as Community Ambassador for Elisa Monte Dance Company under the direction of Mrs. Tiffany Rea-Fisher.


Whitney Janis

Whitney Janis received her early training at Ballet Academy East, The Manhattan Ballet School, and The Ailey School. She later completed her professional training through Ailey’s Independent Study Program, and participated in summer intensives at Elisa Monte Dance, The Ailey School, and the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. She is a member of VashtiDance Theater, NYC Dance Arts, and the multi-disciplinary group Artists By Any Other Name. As a guest artist, she has appeared with ARIM Dance, Dance Visions NY and Buggé Ballet. Whitney is a Teaching Assistant in ballet and Horton at The Ailey School and is on faculty at The Dance Source in Rego Park, Queens. Whitney has an undergraduate degree in Writing Seminars from Johns Hopkins University and is a founding member of the Hopkins contemporary dance group Jaywalk, where she served as Secretary, dancer, and choreographer.

Jessica Eckardt

Jessica is a freelance dancer based in New York City. She trained at The Joffrey Ballet School and graduated from the LINES Ballet Training Program under the direction of Karah Abiog. Jessica has had the pleasure of working with and/or performing for artists such as Shannon Gillen, Laja Field, Martin Durov, David Harvey, Maurya Kerr, Idan Sharabi, Nathaniel Hunt, Troy Ogilvie, and Gregory Dawson. Additionally, she attended the Parsons Dance Summer Intensive, the Elisa Monte Dance Summer Series, and the VIM VIGOR workshop with Ryan Mason and Annamari Keskinen.
